Declaration of conformity with digital accessibility requirements
pursuant to Directive (EU) 2019/882, transposed in Italy by Legislative Decree no. 82 of 27 May 2022, and with reference to the WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria

Atla Coop 2025 declares that its website and related digital content have been designed and developed with the aim of meeting the accessibility requirements set out by the applicable European and national legislation, with particular reference to Directive (EU) 2019/882, Legislative Decree no. 82/2022 and the technical criteria set out in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.1, Level AA.
The website’s compliance status should be understood as partially compliant with the applicable accessibility requirements, as some residual, limited and non-generalised non-compliances are present, resulting from specific technical constraints in the components currently in use. These issues do not systematically compromise the overall usability of the website, but they may cause specific limitations in assisted browsing for some users who use assistive technologies.
The non-compliances currently identified are as follows.
On the homepage, there is an issue relating to the correct semantic hierarchy of headings, with headings not fully consistent with the logical structure of the page. In particular, some heading elements do not follow a fully ordered semantic sequence. This condition relates to WCAG 2.1 criterion 1.3.1, Info and Relationships, as it may affect the correct interpretation of the content structure by assistive technologies. The limitation is due to the current configuration of the template and the graphic components used, the modification of which would require a structural intervention on the content rendering system.
On the Service & Support pages, multiple landmarks are identified with the same ARIA label, resulting in a lack of uniqueness between semantically distinct regions. In particular, some carousel components are exposed with the same aria-label attribute, which may create ambiguity when navigating with a screen reader. The issue relates to WCAG 2.1 criteria 1.3.1, Info and Relationships, and 4.1.2, Name, Role, Value, as it affects the distinguishability and correct identification of regions. This limitation is connected to the operation of the slider component reused within the adopted frontend framework, and correcting it would require a systematic review of the component itself.
On the About Us page, there is an issue similar to the one described above, consisting of duplicated landmarks with non-unique ARIA labels within carousel components. In this case too, the repetition of the same aria-label across multiple regions may hinder the correct identification of sections by assistive technologies. The non-compliance relates to WCAG 2.1 criteria 1.3.1, Info and Relationships, and 4.1.2, Name, Role, Value. The technical cause is linked to the shared use of the same UI component and the structural limitations in the dynamic management of ARIA attributes provided by the current implementation.
On the Network page, an issue has been identified relating to the inappropriate use of the role attribute on image elements, with the assignment of a semantic role that is not consistent with the relevant HTML element. In particular, the group role is applied to an img element, potentially altering how the component is interpreted by assistive technologies. The non-compliance relates to WCAG 2.1 criterion 4.1.2, Name, Role, Value, as the exposed role is not appropriate for the nature of the element. This behaviour is generated automatically by the slider system of the framework in use and cannot be corrected without direct intervention on the component’s source code.
The issues indicated above are residual, localised and technically limited in nature. They have been identified as specific exceptions within a general framework aimed at compliance with the applicable accessibility requirements. Where technically sustainable and compatible with the evolution of the components used, Atla Coop 2025 undertakes to evaluate progressive improvement actions aimed at reducing or removing the residual non-compliances.
This declaration has been prepared to certify the website’s compliance status with the applicable accessibility requirements as at the date of its issue and must be interpreted in light of the technical limitations specifically listed above, which constitute specific exceptions and not a general derogation from accessibility obligations.
